The apartment building on Ringstrasse creates access economies through the design of two staggered building volumes, which result from the central building cores with a generously attached bicycle room.

The offset in the floor plan and section creates a variety of living qualities, while giving the building an overall sculptural appearance. The plasticity of the building is further refined by the addition of balconies and winter gardens, which allow the living spaces to have diversified outdoor references, while they are rounded off at the corners so as not to compete with the overall volume. The storeys of the building are discreetly highlighted on the ceilings by a double stone band, which surrounds the French windows with integrated vertical awnings and gives the railings an independent presence.

The building is integrated into the terrain via a natural stone base and designed as a framed, half-covered forecourt to accentuate the entrance area, which in its urban articulation is reminiscent of the architectural sophistication of Fernand Pouillon. A versatile apartment mirror between 2.5 and 5.5 rooms is being realized – partly as multi-story apartments, partly trough vertical interlocking via maisonette types – in order to be able to accommodate a range of orientations, facade connections and access with high-quality, individual floor plans.
