The residential building on Thurgauerstrasse is placed with the gable end facing the street and is integrated smoothly into the typical street frontage by a green band of hedges.

The house adapts to the site through a subtle S-shaped bend, creating qualities in the floor plan and building orientation. To soothe the polygonal setting, the house is given a clearly legible continuous eave height and a dusty rose vertical grooved render, which is smoothed at the base and frames the building like a woven band.

Within the band lie the vertical window bands, which are hinged internally. In the same restrained language, cantilevered conservatories with discreet dark blue awnings give the twelve 2.5-room apartments an outdoor feel. The tin mansard roof adds a crowning touch to the building with its expressive skylights in the window axes.

The floor plans benefit from different views due to the shape of the building and offer different variations of open plan kitchens with living areas that are carried to the outside via the conservatories.
